Holding Sanctuary Study and Discussion Group

Holding Sanctuary, a study and discussion group focusing on justice and democracy in our changing world, will hold its inaugural meeting on Thursday, December 12 at 6:30.

We will begin by examining the lessons in Timothy Snyder's book On Tyranny which is short and inexpensive - and is also available in video format in short chapters.

 YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY (or even read) THE BOOK TO PARTICIPATE. We will watch the videos together and discuss the ideas Snyder presents and how they apply to our life in Dekalb. At this first meeting we will also set dates and times for future meetings in light of the holiday season ahead.
