Immigration Discussion Meeting

You are invited to participate in a discussion of issues related to immigration in the U.S. led by Maylan Dunn-Kenney. The discussion will be from 1:00 to 2:30 AM on Saturday, March 30th at UUFD. To prepare for the discussion, please become familiar with these three reports:

 This is the first of a series of social justice discussion groups  planned by our Social Justice Committee. Additional topics include Clean Water, Ethical Consumerism, Ethical Eating, Ageism, and Climate Change . We will be discussing readings from on-line  resources to make it easer for participants to access readings. We are looking for discussion faciliator volunteers for these or other  social justic topics of interest. Discussion facilitaors have thier choise of social justic topics,  choose two or three recent articles relativant to the topic that are available on line for the group to read. At least one article may be for gene3ral information, and at least one article should be suirable for in depth discussion.   Facilitators then pose some questions about the reading materials to generate discussion.
