I have been a member of UUFD since 1995. I have served many years on the Board, but seem to have found my niche in the Member Care business. I live in DeKalb, with my two adult daughters, Melissa and Janelle. I work at Clinton Rosette Middle School and spend most of my free time swimming, reading, or with my kids or cats!
Ministry Committee Co-Chairs
Terri Mann Lamb
I have been a member of UUFD since 1996 and served as Director of Religious Education for seven years. I have recently served as President-elect, President, and Past President over the past 3 years. Presently I serve as Convener of the Leadership Council and as Co-chair of the Congregational Support and Development Ministry. I live in DeKalb with my husband and 2 cats. I have three adult daughters, Indya, Asheli and Garland. I have been blessed with three granddaughters as well, Raegan, Ysabella and Violet.
After receiving her B.A. in English from the University of Florida, Ashley tolerated a series of administrative jobs for several years before abandoning cubicle farms to try stay-at-home parenting. She home schools her children, knits, makes soap, plays the mountain dulcimer, and volunteers more than she ever expected to. Her family moved to the DeKalb area in 2012 and delights in the community.
I have been a member of UUFD since 2002 and have had the privilege of serving the congregation in a number of ways. Presently, in addition to coordinating social justice activities, I serve as a worship associate. I live in DeKalb with my husband Dan and two very demanding cats.
I serve as co-leader of the Social Justice and Outreach Ministry committee, as the organizer of the UUFD Winter Farmers' Market and Arts Fair, and am the convener of the Building Renewal Task Force.
